Er enth\u00e4lt zwei interne Spannungsquellen 3,3V und 5V und intern eine Konvertierung zwischen 3,3V und 5V I\u00b2C f\u00fcr die Signalspannungen. Damit k\u00f6nnen drei Aufgaben erledigt werden. Als erstes kann damit auf dem gemeinsamen I\u00b2C Bus auch mit Brick Bausteinen gearbeitet werden, die vom Chip Hersteller nur mit 3,3V angeboten werden. Die beiden anderen Funktionen sind die M\u00f6glichkeit, externe Sensoren mit 3,3V und auch mit 5V \u00fcber Anschlussdr\u00e4ht in das Bricksystem einzubinden.
